Samatva: 80 Women Architects Shaping India’s Built Future | Red Fort
Samatva is an exhibition that brings together the life’s work and journeys of 80 women architects, presented as part of India’s first Art, Architecture, and Design Biennale at the Red Fort (December 2023–March 2024), helmed by the Ministry of Culture.
Designed in collaboration with Social Design Collaborative, the exhibition set was conceived as a tactile and sensory experience; one that honours decades of practice, resilience, and quiet revolution. Each element of the space was imagined to hold stories, timelines, and voices, allowing visitors to engage not just with drawings and artefacts, but with the lived realities behind them. Together, the exhibition becomes a collective narrative of women shaping India’s built environment across generations.
